Proven techniques.
We utilize established characterization techniques to quickly and accurately grade batteries. These techniques are called electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and hybrid pulse power characterization (HPPC).

Rapid insights.
We perform an EIS test across three decades ranging from 1 Hz down to 0.1 Hz to enable rapid insights into materials degradation such as SEI layer growth, increased charge transfer resistance, and increased diffusion resistance.

EIS is a fast, non-invasive, and reliable diagnostic to grade battery modules and speed up UL1974 test time from 6 hours to 10 minutes. Plus, our modern software toolset helps keep track of battery parameters.

However, those “old” batteries still hold a lot of value. Unlike a traditional BMS, which becomes more unreliable as a battery ages, ReJoule’s technology utilizes a battery’s actual aging and usage patterns to tailor our State of Health measurements.
