BattScan500V: Beta Testing Requirements

Thank you for considering offering your vehicle to help us collect benchmark data for our BattScan500V while it is in beta.

Before we proceed, please make sure:

EV type: Your vehicle is a Tesla Model Y Long Range produced after October 2020 or has the CCS chip installed or Chevy Bolt with the 66kWh battery (model year 2020 - 2023).

Vehicle Readiness: Your vehicle must be in operational condition. It should have a functional and accessible DC fast charging port and be able to reach a low charge level (<10 miles of range). Damaged and defective vehicles are not good candidates for this beta.

If you meet these requirements, volunteer your car for testing today—fill out the form to join our mission to maximize the value of every battery!

Test Process

1) Drive your EV to our facility: we have two locations in LA County where testing can be performed.

2) Discharge Process: ReJoule will safely discharge the battery as low as possible by turning on the vehicle's heater.

3) Charging and Testing: While charging the battery back to 100% with BattScan500V, we conduct an Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) test, giving you deep insights into battery performance. EIS is the gold standard for testing batteries in a fast and non-invasive manner. Want to learn more on EIS? Please continue reading here

4) Battery Report: You will receive a battery report on your EV’s battery state of health 48 hours after the test is completed.

More details will follow once you submit the form above!
