Proven techniques.
We utilize established characterization techniques to quickly and accurately grade batteries. These techniques are called electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and hybrid pulse power characterization (HPPC).

Rapid insights.
We perform an EIS test across three decades ranging from 1 Hz down to 0.1 Hz to enable rapid insights into materials degradation such as SEI layer growth, increased charge transfer resistance, and increased diffusion resistance.

Fast and non-invasive.
EIS is a fast, non-invasive, and reliable diagnostic to grade battery modules and speed up UL1974 test time from 6 hours to 10 minutes. Plus, our modern software toolset helps keep track of battery parameters.

For batteries already removed from vehicles, attach our BattScan to your batteries’ terminals. Otherwise, plug our BattScan directly into your vehicle’s DC Fast Charging port!

We are at the beginning of the electric mobility revolution. From scooters and e-bikes to cars and airplanes, all-electric is the future. Powering all those machines requires more batteries than ever before, and as those batteries age, they need to be constantly maintained – and replaced.
However, those “old” batteries still hold a lot of value. As we simultaneously sprint towards using more clean energy, used batteries are critical for stationary storage, which impacts renewable energy availability, consumption, and overall equity. The used electric vehicle (EV) batteries of today will power (pun intended) the energy grid of tomorrow.
